Leadership

Tiger Institute is governed by the executive board and board of governors. This layered structure, with the right stakeholders involved on a recurring basis, gives us effective governance. Each stakeholder contributes to our accomplishments and ongoing success

The Executive Board

The executive board consists of the president of MU, Mun Choi, PhD and the chairman of Oracle Health, David Feinberg, MD. They meet annually to review Tiger Institute matters and resolve any deadlocks of the board of governors.

The Board of Governors

MU and Oracle Cerner oversee the strategic alliance and individual initiatives through the board of governors, chaired by Richard Barohn, MD, Executive Vice Chancellor of Health Affairs, MU Health System and Dean, MU School of Medicine.

The board has an equal number of members from MU and Oracle Cerner. Each member represents key stakeholders who are impacted by the Tiger Institute.

The board provides advice, counsel, and direction to our management team, approving certain transactions and policies, and monitoring the team's activities. The board approves the annual plan which sets forth near-term strategic priorities, projects, and key target metrics. In its quarterly meetings, the board monitors progress toward annual goals
