Tiger Institute Paid Internship Program

There are 2 job profiles for paid site interns:

  • Consultant Site Intern (Applications)

  • Technical Site Intern (System Engineer, Software Engineer, End User Device)


Throughout their internship, students have an opportunity to engage with their team lead, Intern Coordinator and executive stakeholder for the Internship Program. These roles provide guidance, mentorship and daily oversight as each intern develops. In addition, discussions around successes, areas of improvement and next careers steps are taking place to assist with recruitment into a full-time position with Oracle Cerner in KC or locally at Tiger Institute.


To be considered for a Tiger Institute Paid Internship position:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited institution as a full-time student, majoring in an applicable major (Computer Science, Engineering, Bio-informatics, Bio-medical Engineer, Health Sciences, Computer Engineering, Business, Information Technology)

  • Must be able to commit to at least one year

  • Must have a US Work Authorization

  • Must be able to work 10-12 hours during the school year and up to 40 hours in the summer
