As senior director and project management executive of the Tiger Institute, Robin Jones focuses on the direction and leadership for the institute’s development-at-the-edge teams, the project management office and Cerner contracting. She is responsible for leading development of new innovations, expanding Cerner’s solution set and managing the University of Missouri Health Care System’s enterprise portfolio and governance of technology investments.
Robin makes an impact by working directly with University of Missouri Health Care and Cerner executive leadership to build a seamless strategic plan and roadmap for value-added execution.
Robin joined Cerner in 2011 as a project manager. She has held roles within the company such as PMO manager, ancillary application manager and consulting executive. Robin has spent her Cerner career at the Tiger Institute in Columbia, MO.
During her time at Cerner, Robin has led University of Missouri Health Care to HIMSS Level 7 recognition and recertification in both the acute and ambulatory spaces. She also joined with her development team to earn the American Hospital Association’s 2017 Innovator Award for its behavioral health application – MoodTrek.
Robin is a graduate of Park University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in health care administration, and holds her certification as a Project Manager Professional (PMP).
