As the senior director of Tiger Institute Applications, Deb Dow focuses on the direction and strategy of application services and revenue cycle at University of Missouri Health Care. She plays a key leadership role in the Tiger Institute, driving strategies and business practices that lead to results. She supports MU Health Care’s roadmap and ITWorks’ organizational imperatives.
She makes an impact on MU Health Care by understanding MU’s vision and strategic goals and providing solutions to meet those needs.
Deb joined Cerner in 2010 as an Applications Manager. Prior to joining Cerner, she held roles such as Patient Service Representative, Revenue Cycle Trainer, Assistant Director Registration Services and IT Revenue Cycle Manager.
During her time at Cerner, Deb partnered with MU Health Care to go from HIMSS Analytics EMRAM Stage 3 to 7 within two years. She also played a key role in MU Health Care’s selection by HIMSS as a Nicholas E. Davies Award winner in 2015, as well as “Most Wired” designations every year since 2011.
Deb is a graduate of University of Texas at Austin with a degree in mathematics and also holds a Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Missouri —Columbia.
