As a director and support executive for technology operations within the Tiger Institute, Chris Coakley focuses on the delivery of technology services for the University of Missouri (MU) Health Care with direct management responsibilities for all End User Technologies throughout the health system.
He makes an impact on the Tiger Institute and MU Health Care by providing operational oversight to teams delivering support of roughly 6,000 staff at five acute care facilities and 60 clinics, utilizing over 25,000 inventoried technology devices. In addition, Chris has liaison responsibilities to stakeholders and partners within the health system, University of Missouri campus departments, third-party vendors and Tiger Institute and Cerner teams.
Chris joined Cerner in 2005 as a technical solution analyst within the Solution Works organization. Since 2008, Chris has managed teams within Solution Works as well as projects and teams within the Tiger Institute as a team lead, technical project manager, senior project manager and most recently as senior support manager.
During his time at Cerner, Chris has consistently promoted client service to drive value, engagement and satisfaction for both internal and external clients. He was recognized in 2015 with the Cerner Master Award for the successful implementation of the Mayo Reference Lab Network for MU Health Care Laboratory Services.
Prior to joining Cerner, Chris was an assistant manager for Intrust Bank. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Newman University in management information systems and a minor in computer information systems.
