The University and Cerner oversee the strategic alliance and individual initiatives through the board of governors.
The board has an equal number of votes from Cerner and the University. Each member represents key stakeholders who are impacted by the Tiger Institute.
The board provides advice, counsel, and direction to our management team, approving certain transactions and policies, and monitoring the team’s activities.
In its quarterly meetings, the board focuses on operating and financial performance goals, the reliability of reporting, and compliance with laws and regulations. Decision-making authority resides with the board of governors.
