Surgical Glass Study

An IRB approved quality improvement project was presented at CHC using the Surgical Glass. Surgical Glass was compared to traditional digital camera use and Cerner Imaging app.

Outcomes: Surgical Glass and Cerner Imaging were similar in performance efficiency, and digital camera use lagged far behind in both the clinic and the operating room.  Average System Usability Scale score of 83.75 indicates a high degree of usability.  Subjective image quality comparison yielded no substantial difference for documentation purposes.
